Magnolia Pictures, 2020

The Film. John Lewis: Good Trouble chronicles the exceptional life and 60-plus years of social activism and legislative action of the legendary civil rights activist and Democratic Representative from Georgia.
The Campaign. Our impact campaign presented a unique opportunity to move the needle on voter suppression in perhaps the most important election in modern history. Through targeted work with Georgia partners, the campaign supported voting rights and get-out-the-vote efforts among poor and disenfranchised communities.
Roles: lead copywriter, researcher, content producer
I led a dedicated newsletter which encouraged film audiences to “make good trouble” for voting rights. I wrote, edited and proofread the campaign’s landing page. I supported content production for our social media campaign featuring LaTosha Brown and Rev. James Woodall.
Results. Over 54K voter registration forms were delivered to marginalized voters, especially in Georgia.
