
The Challenge. Create a bimonthly newsletter for 3Roots Media‘s audience of filmmakers, funders and industry leaders who believe in the power of storytelling to drive meaningful change.
The Positioning. As a growing community rallies around the idea that stories can change the world, EVERGREEN was created as a space for what endures, spotlighting films, ideas and conversations that continue to spark impact long after their release.
The Newsletter. I developed the newsletter’s visual identity and editorial strategy, defining a structure that balances curated film highlights, industry insights, and thoughtful commentary.
I now lead the newsletter end-to-end, from concept through execution, including writing, design, distribution, performance analysis, and ongoing optimization.
I also designed and developed a custom web experience for each issue on the 3Roots Media site, extending the newsletter’s reach and longevity.

Results: Achieved a 67% open rate and built a highly engaged subscriber base across the film and philanthropy sectors.
The online version of the newsletter drives an average 40.5% month-over-month growth of active website users on 3Roots’ website.
